New York’s hottest new downtown performing arts center is gearing up to finally open its doors. Today it was announced that the Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) will have its official grand opening on September 19 at its new site at the World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan.

In addition to its previously announced lineup, PAC NYC will present Downtown Sessions, a new intimate concert series with LaChanze on October 1, Ben Platt on October 7, and the previous announced Brian Stokes Mitchell on October 5.

Also announced today, this fall Metropolis by Marcus Samuelsson, a contemporary American restaurant by Samuelsson will open. Designed by the Rockwell Group, Metropolis will offer a warm and welcoming dining and lounge experience, including a bar and outdoor terrace, throughout PAC NYC’s lobby level. The menu draws inspiration from the diversity of the five boroughs defined by generations of immigrants and honors the convergence of cultures throughout the great city of New York.

PAC NYC tickets begin at $39 and memberships will start at $10. For more information, visit PACNYC.org
