This program aims to provide an introduction and a general knowledge base of theatre administration and operations in a hands-on setting. Positions in this program will be involved with projects related to the upcoming 2023-2024 theatre season and, in addition to specific disciplines, will have the opportunity for interdepartmental lunches and learning opportunities with coordinators and senior staff.
Internships are available in the following disciplines: Broadway Theatre Management; Ticketing Operations; Facilities Project Management; Ticketing Technology; and Human Resources/Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Note: The Internship in Ticketing Technology is based in the Glen Rock, New Jersey office.
These positions are paid and are expected to work 20 hours per week. The internship program also provides weekly MTA metrocards, as well as development opportunities, tours of Shubert’s theatres, and access to Broadway shows and events.
There are two different ways to apply for these internships. Interested applicants can apply online or download a PDF application. PDF applications should be sent to internship@shubertorg.com. More information about the internship program is available here.
