Henry Creel is headed to Broadway! Today it was announced that thanks to the official payments partner Mastercard, any ticket holder who is not currently a Netflix subscriber will be gifted a 30-day subscription if you purchase your tickets to Stranger Things: The First Shadow up until September 30, 2024.

Mastercard cardholders will get access to tickets before the general public by entering the code HENRY starting tomorrow, September 13, 2024 at 11AM EST. Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.

As previously announced, Stranger Things is headed to Broadway’s Marquis Theatre beginning Friday, March 28, 2025, with an official opening set for Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

Based on an original story by the Duffer Brothers, Jack Thorne, and Kate Trefry, the new play is written by Trefry with co-direction by Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin.

Before the world turned upside down. Hawkins, 1959: a regular town with regular worries. Young Jim Hopper’s car won’t start, Bob Newby’s sister won’t take his radio show seriously and Joyce Maldonado just wants to graduate and get the hell out of town. When new student Henry Creel arrives, his family finds that a fresh start isn’t so easy...and the shadows of the past have a very long reach.

Casting will be announced at a future date.
