Atlantic Theater Company Announces 2025-26 Season
Atlantic Theater Company’s new season will include new plays from Academy Award-winner Ethan Coen, Jake Brasch, and Eliana Theologides Rodriguez, a kids musical from Mo Willems, and a fourth play to be announced.
Coen’s play Let’s Love will run from Sept. 25 to Nov. 9 at the Linda Gross Theatre. It will be directed by Neil Pepe. It is a trio of one acts that explores love in all its miserable glory. The play is making its world premier.
The Reservoir by Brasch, running in February and March, 2026, will be directed by Shelley Butler. It follows Josh, who just moved to Denver to get sober. The fog in his brain won’t lift after years of drinking — and he finds himself strangely in step with his four aging grandparents. The play was originally commissioned and developed through the EST/Sloan Project, and is being presented as a Co-Production with Ensemble Studio Theatre & The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
Rodriguez’s satirical play Indian Princesses will run in May and June 2026 directed by Miranda Cornell. It is a co-production with Rattlestick Theater & The Terrence McNally Foundation. Set in summer 2008, five young girls of color and their white dads attend a family-bonding program with camp-like activities. The program sparks questions that their fathers can’t, or won’t, answer.
For families, this year's Atlantic for Kids Musical will be Elephant & Piggies “We Are In a Play” with script and lyrics by Mo Willems and music by Deborah Wicks La Puma. The show is based on Willems’ iconic Elephant & Piggie books.
