Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter Will Lead WAITING FOR GODOT Next Fall On Broadway

Party on, dudes! Today, producers announced that director Jamie Lloyd will bring a new production of Samuel Beckett’s Waiting For Godot starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter to Broadway. The production will open at an ATG theater to be announced soon in Fall of 2025. Reeves will play Estragon and Winter will play Vladimir. 

This will be a reunion for Reeves and Winter, the stars of the cult classic Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure franchise. 

“It is a real honor to be collaborating with the brilliant Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter on Samuel Beckett’s sublime masterpiece — one of the greatest plays of all time,” said Jamie Lloyd. In a joint statement, Reeves and Winter said, “We’re incredibly excited to be on stage together and work with the great Jamie Lloyd in one of our favorite plays.”

Additional casting and creative team will be announced in the coming months.
