Listen To THAT DAY IS COMING, EVERY DAY IS COMING From Open-Door Playhouse
That Day Is Coming, Every Day Is Coming is one of the latest works from Open-Door Playhouse. Two men playing their routine card game. As they start to discuss their colleague who is terminally ill and will unfortunately pass soon the two men reflect on their own lives and mortality. They realize that death is coming, and for some of us it is coming faster than for others.
The play is written by Cameron Scott, a Connecticut based playwright who studied at NYU. His play Uphill was a winning play at ESTAFest (Eastern States Theatre Association). James Calvert and Allan Wasserman star in this new work, directed by Dennis Gersten. The plays are produced by Bernadette Armstrong, sound engineer is David Peters, sound effects are provided by AudioJungle, and music is from Karaoke Version. The plays are recorded at The Oak House Studio in Altadena, California.
Open-Door Playhouse was founded by Bernadette Armstrong and was launched on September 15th in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. During this time, Open-Door Playhouse provided Playwrights, Actors and Directors a creative outlet during the Covid-19 shutdown. The organization presents Short and One-Act plays from playwrights all over the world.
