This summer’s shaping up to be a honky-tonking good time. May We All: A New Country Musical will feature songs by a lengthy roster of superstars, including Kacey Musgraves, Dolly Parton, Miranda Lambert, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, and Florida Georgia Line.

The show begins previews June 7 at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville with an opening night set for June 15. A development reading took place last year in NYC featuring Noah J. Ricketts, Bligh Voth, and more. Check out a sneak peek below.

Also lending their songs to the jukebox musical are Brooks & Dunn, Chris Stapleton, Jessica Andrews, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Little Big Town, LOCASH, Old Dominion, Runaway June, Sara Evans, Tim McGraw, and Zac Brown Band. FGL’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard will also debut two original songs in the score.

May We All follows Jenna Coates, a small-town girl whose big-city singing career is over before it even begins. When she returns home, she reconnects with the people and the places of her past. Together, they strive to create a better future for their beloved town and lives.

The role of Bailey Stone, a country superstar who inspires Jenna on her career path, will be played in rotation by several country music guest stars. Slated to perform the role are Alana Springsteen, Alexandra Kay, BRELAND, Brian Kelley, Canaan Smith, Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Chris Ruediger, Cooper Alan, Danielle Bradbery, Jamie O’Neal, Lainey Wilson, Lindsay Ell, LOCASH, Nick Fradiani, Robyn Ottolini, Scarlett Burke, Thomas Mac, Tigirlily, Trent Harmon, and many more. More casting will be announced soon.

“As soon as we knew we’d be in residence here, we conceived the role of Bailey Stone to be able to tap into the embarrassment of riches that is the music talent that resides here,” says Barra. “We can’t wait for our audiences to be able to experience not only our company of actors, but a different one of their favorite recording artists on stage at every performance.”

The musical features a book by Troy Britton Johnson, Todd Johnson, and Eric Pfeffinger, with arrangements and orchestrations by Brian Usifer, and choreography by William Carlos Angulo. Shelley Butler directs.

Joining the creative team is scenic designer Timothy Mackabee, costume designer Lex Liang, lighting designer Zach Blane, sound designer Cody Spencer, and music director Geoffrey Ko,. Casting is by Daryl Eisenberg and Ally Beans of Eisenberg / Beans Casting. May We All is produced by Michael Barra’s Lively McCabe Entertainment and Brian Kelley’s CuzBro Productions.
