RIDE THE CYCLONE Will Make UK Premier This Winter
“What the world needs” is the UK premiere of Ride the Cyclone The Musical. The iconic musical, written by Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell, will have its first UK production at the Southwark Playhouse Elephant from Nov. 14, 2025 to Jan. 10, 2026. The production will be directed and choreographed by Lizzi Gee.
The show tells the story of a freak roller coaster accident, claiming the lives of six teenagers. They’re stuck in limbo land — but fate gives them one last chance. Each teen steeps into the spotlight to plead their case that they deserve a second chance at life.
Ride the Cyclone first premiered at the Atomic Vaudeville in British Columbia, Canada in 2008. It ran Off-Broadway at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in November 2016. Since then, it has had numerous productions across the globe, and become a fan-favorite score online.
