Gorgeous! Sarah Snook has won the 2025 Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Play for her performance in The Picture of Dorian Gray. Snook beat out fellow nominees Laura Donnelly for The Hills of California, Mia Farrow for The Roommate, LaTanya Richardson Jackson for Purpose, and Sadie Sink for John Proctor is the Villain.

Snook is best known for her role in HBO’s Succession. She is reprising her role from the West End production of The Picture of Dorian Gray, for which she won the Olivier Award for Best Actress. She has also performed on screen in Predestination, The Glass Castle, An American Pickle, and more.

Based on the Oscar Wilde novel of the same name, The Picture of Dorian Gray explores the concept of youth and beauty. It brings to life 26 distinct characters, each portrayed by Sarah Snook of Succession. The production has received rave reviews and critical acclaim for its innovative use of video and modernization of the timeless story. It runs at the Music Box Theatre through June 15.
