Simon Baker has won Best Sound Design of a Play at the 74th Annual Tony Awards for his work on A Christmas Carol. This is his third nomination and first win. He was nominated for his work on Boeing-Boeing and Brief Encounter.

Baker beat out fellow nominees Paul Arditti & Christopher Reid (The Inheritance), Lindsay Jones (Slave Play), and Daniel Kluger (Sea Wall/A Life and The Sound Inside).

Previous Broadway credits include: Girl from North Country, Groundhog Day, Matilda the Musical, La Bête, and Brief Encounter.
