Recently, we met up with Bobbi Mackenzie at the stage door of the Longacre Theatre to chat all things Broadway, sipping tea, and her favorite play from the Bard. The star currently plays Macduff’s child in the revival of Macbeth, now playing through July 10.

Macbeth stars Daniel Craig in the title role opposite Ruth Negga as Lady Macbeth. The cast also features Phillip James Brannon as Ross, Grantham Coleman as MacDuff, Asia Kate Dillon as Malcolm, Maria Dizzia as Lady Macduff, Amber Gray as Banquo, Emeka Guindo as Fleance, Paul Lazar as Duncan, Bobbi MacKenzie as Macduff’s Child, Michael Patrick Thornton as Lennox, and Danny Wolohan as Seyton.

Directed by Sam Gold, the production features scenic design by Christine Jones, costume design by Suttirat Larlarb, lighting design by Jane Cox, sound design by Mikaal Sulaiman, original music by Gaelynn Lea, movement by Sam Pinkleton, fight direction by David Leong, special effects design by Jeremy Chernick, hair and wig design by Tommy Kurzman, projection design by Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew, and casting by David Caparelliotis. Michael Sexton and Ayanna Thompson serve as dramaturgy and text consultants while Dawn-Elin Fraser is the vocal coach. Kevin Bertolacci is the production stage manager and 101 Productions, Ltd. is the general manager.
