Tracy Letts’ latest play The Minutes will resume performances in New York now at Broadway’s Studio 54 with previews set to begin in March of 2022. An official opening night is set for April 7, 2022. The Anna D. Shapiro directed new play was in previews at the Cort Theatre at the time of the Broadway shutdown due to Covid-19.

From Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, The Minutes takes a hard look at the inner workings of a city council meeting and the hypocrisy, greed, and ambition that bubble to the surface when a newcomer to the small town of Big Cherry starts to ask the wrong questions.

Casting will be announced at a later date, but in light of recent allegations, Armie Hammer has departed the original company.

The production features scenic design by David Zinn, costume design by Ana Kuzmanic, lighting design by Brian MacDevitt, sound design and original music by André Pluess, hair and wig design by Tom Watson, dramaturgy by Edward Sobel and casting by CaparelliotisCasting.
