Miriam wins a Tony! Miriam Silverman has won the Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play for her incredible portrayal of Mavis Parodus Bryson in The Sign in Sidney Brystein’s Window. She was crowned the winner at the 2023 Tony Awards on the stage of the United Palace. Silverman beat out fellow nominees Nikki Crawford, Fat Ham, Crystal Lucas-Perry, Ain't No Mo', Katy Sullivan, Cost of Living, and Kara Young, Cost of Living.
Miriam is no stranger to the spotlight! Silverman's numerous New York credits include roles in A Delicate Ship, Everything You Touch, You Got Older, The Hour of All Things and Finks (for which she received a Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Actress), Septimus and Clarissa, Hamlet, and many others.
