Watch The 2022 ROGER REES AWARDS Livestream

The day has finally arrived! Tune in today, May 22, 2022 starting at 3:00pm EST for the 12th Annual Roger Rees Awards for Excellence in Student Performance, streaming right here at Theatrely. 

Presented by the Broadway Education Alliance Inc. (BEA) and Disney Theatrical Group, the annual awards promote the importance of theatre education in the Greater New York area and provide students with educational scholarships, skills training, and career advancement. The student winners of the Roger Rees Awards for Best Actor and Best Actress will advance to the National High School School Musical Theatre Awards, aka The Jimmy Awards later next month. 

This year’s Outstanding Performer in a Musical Finalists include Vita Augugliaro from Sewanhaka High School, Cassidy Altazar from MacArthur High School. Mack Brunner from Huntington High School, Zachary Doran from Archbishop Stepinac High School, Devin Eichel from Carle Place High School, Davey Fried from Roslyn High School, Liam Ginsburg from Pelham Memorial High School, Saydie Grossman from Roslyn High School,. Maureen Henshaw from Carmel High School, Jack Jozefowski from Chaminade High School, Sophia O’Brien from Fordham Preparatory High School, and Oliver Tam from Pelham Memorial High School.
