2023 Tony Nominations Complete List: SOME LIKE IT HOT Leads the Way
The champagne is chilled and the ballots are ready. The nominees for the 2023 Tony Awards are being announced May 2 at 9 AM, and Theatrely is ready to bring you the latest as it rolls in.
Eligible for the 2022-2023 season are 41 productions, with nine musicals, 17 plays, six musical revivals, and six play revivals, all hoping to hear their name called this morning. The nominations are being revealed by Tony winner Myles Frost and Lea Michele.
The winners of the 76th annual Tony Awards will be revealed June 11 at United Palace. Oscar winner Ariana DeBose will host the main event, which will air from 8:00-11:00 PM, ET/5:00-8:00 PM, PT on the CBS Television Network, and streaming live and on demand on Paramount+*.
Yesterday, it was announced that the recipients of the 2023 Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre will be: Lisa Dawn Cave, Victoria Bailey and Robert Fried.
