We love to see women supporting women on International Women’s Day. Keri René Fuller will play Jane Seymour in Six beginning March 14, stepping in for Abby Mueller while the star is out on medical leave. It’s anticipated that Mueller will return to the Broadway production at a later date.

Fuller has been seen on Broadway in Waitress and Jagged Little Pill. She also appeared as Grizabella in the tour of Cats.

The news comes on the heels of another new cast member joining the Queens the same day. As previously announced, Joy Woods will portray Catherine Parr. Also joining the cast March 14 will be alternate Hana Stewart.

Six opened October 3, 2021, at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. The musical, which follows the six wives of Henry VIII as they reclaim their narrative through an American Idol–style singing competition, is written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss and co-directed by Moss and Jamie Armitage.
