Bad Cinderella has introduced a new way for fans to engage with the production: The Broadway Exchange. Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new musical has partnered with the online marketplace for digital collectibles.

The partnership aims to give fans a new and exciting way to interact with the musical. Bad Cinderella is the first Broadway production to feature a digital collectibles partnership, allowing fans to receive behind-the-scenes content and win rewards (including tickets, merchandise, and exclusive experiences) through digital collectibles.

The series launched today at www.BWAYX.com. Fans who claim the free collectible available now will get early access to future content from Bad Cinderella, to be released over the following days and weeks. Those who collect the full set of digital collectibles will be entered into a contest to win autographed merchandise.

Bad Cinderella, originally titled Cinderella, premiered in the summer of 2021 at the Gillian Lynne Theatre in London's West End. The show closed June 12, 2022, after numerous fits and starts due to COVID-19. Reviews for Cinderella were middling but the audiences reportedly enjoyed its cheeky humor and madcap freshness injected into a well-trod story.

Bad ‍Cinderella features an updated story and book by Oscar-winning screenwriter Emerald Fennell, with music by Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Zippel. The creative team also includes director Laurence Connor, choreographer JoAnn Hunter, set and costume designer Gabriela Tylesova, sound designer Gareth Owen, lighting designer Bruno Poet, hair and wig design by Luc Verschueren, and co-musical supervisor John Rigby. Casting is by Tara Rubin Casting. The musical is produced on Broadway by Christine Schwarzman and Darren Johnston of No Guarantees and Really Useful Group. Wagner Johnson Productions is the executive producer.

Previews for Bad Cinderella begin February 17, 2023, at the Imperial Theatre. An opening night is set for March 23. For tickets and more information, visit here.
