EXCLUSIVE: First Listen to KISS ME performed by Sierra Boggess and Adam Jacobs from SONGS FROM MONTE CRISTO: A NEW MUSICAL

We are about to fall in love with this album! Center Stage Records is releasing Songs from Monte Cristo: A New Musical featuring Broadway’s Adam Jacobs, Sierra Boggess, and Norm Lewis tomorrow, Friday July 10. 

Monte Cristo  is a transcendent tale of love, betrayal, revenge and, ultimately, redemption. It tells the epic story of a man wrongfully imprisoned who returns richer, wiser, and bent on vengeance. But as his carefully orchestrated plan unfolds, he must face the ultimate question: is justice enough without love? It features Jacobs as the wrongfully imprisoned hero (Edmund Dantes), Boggess as the love of his life, and Lewis as the man who sends Edmund to prison and who is haunted by his decision for the rest of his days.

The company also features Danny Rutigliano as both Caderousse and the Abbe Faria, Karen Ziemba as Carconte,Daniel Yearwood as Fernand, Stephanie Jae Park as Haydee, James Judy as Danglars, Kate Fitzgerald as Eugenie, Jadon Lopez as Albert, and Eliseo Roman as Morrel.

Theatrely has an exclusive first listen to Boggess and Jacobs singing “Kiss Me” from the musical.

Monte Cristo features book and lyrics by Peter Kellogg, who earned two Tony Award nominations for his work on the musical Anna Karenina. Music is by Stephen Weiner, who is the winner of two Richard Rodgers Awards from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, recipient of a Jonathan Larson Grant, and winner of the ASCAP Richard Rodgers Award.
