To quote Cady and Aaron, “More is better.” That’s the vibe going into the final round of casting for the Mean Girls: The Musical movie. Most recently, TV stars Jenna Fischer and Busy Philipps were cast as the “moms,” playing Mrs. Heron and Mrs. George, respectively. In addition, Tina Fey and Tim Meadows revealed they’d be repising their roles from the original film.

As previously announced, Renée Rapp will play Regina George, with Angourie Rice as Cady Heron, Auli’i Cravalho as Janice Ian, Jaquel Spivey as Damien, Avantika as Karen Smith, Bebe Wood as Gretchen Weiners, and Christopher Briney as Aaron Samuels.

Tina Fey and Lorne Michaels are producing Mean Girls after leading the Broadway production, with Fey again writing a script for the newest iteration of the beloved property. Samantha Jayne and Arturo Perez Jr. are co-directors. Kyle Hanagami will choreograph the film. While no release date has been announced, Mean Girls will be released via streaming on Paramount+, with even more casting to come.

To celebrate the casting, we compiled photos of the three stars who have played each character. Check out the gallery below!
