Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) will open on Broadway this fall at the Longacre Theatre. Previews begin Nov. 1 with official opening set for Nov. 20.

Tickets go on sale today for top fans of the Two Strangers cast album on Spotify. Listeners can check their email to see if they qualify. Tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow, Aug. 13, at 10 a.m. All seats for eight select previews in the first two weeks of the Broadway run will be $88 or under if purchased before Aug. 20.

The musical tells the story of Dougal, an upbeat Brit who has landed in New York to attend the wedding of the father he’s never met. Robin, the sister of the bride, is a no-nonsense New Yorker tasked with plenty of errands — including picking up the Dougal from the airport.

Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) had successful runs in London’s West End and Boston’s American Repertory Theatre. It is written and composed by Jim Barne and Kit Buchan and is directed and choreographed by Tim Jackson.

Starring in the musical’s Broadway premiere are Olivier Award-winning actor Sam Tutty in his Broadway debut as Dougal, and Christiani Pitts as Robin, who reprise their roles from the American Repertory Theater production.

The creative team features Scenic and Costume Design by Soutra Gilmour, Lighting Design by Tony Award winner Jack Knowles, Sound Design by Olivier Award winner Tony Gayle, Orchestrations by Lux Pyramid, and Music Supervision by Nick Finlow.

Two Strangers (Carry A Cake Across New York) begins performances at the Longacre Theatre on West 48th Street in New York City on Nov. 1. For tickets and more information, visit here.
