It’s only October 4th, but award season is already upon us! This year CBS will present The 77th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday, June 16, 2024. The telecast will be broadcast live from the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, after being held at the United Palace in Washington Heights earlier this year.

The eligibility cut-off for the 2023-2024 season is Thursday, April 25, 2024 for all Broadway productions and nominations for the 2024 Tony Awards will be announced live on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

It has been a busy season already with Grey House, Once Upon a One More Time, Just For Us, Here Lies Love, The Cottage, Back to the Future, The Shark Is Broken, El Mago Pop, Purlie Victorious, Melissa Etheridge: My Window, and Jaja’s Afraican Hair Braiding already open. More news comes everyday with future productions this spring but chatter on the rialto is buzzing on which revival will take the cake between Merrily We Roll Along, Cabaret, and The Wiz which just recently launched its pre-Broadway national tour.

The Tony Awards are produced by a joint venture including The Broadway League, The American Theatre Wing, and White Cherry Entertainment.
