A BEAUTIFUL NOISE Will Launch North American Tour in 2024
Pack those blue jeans, they’re hitting the road! A North American tour of A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical will launch in Providence, Rhode Island, in the fall of 2024. Technical rehearsals and the opening performances will take place at the Providence Performing Arts Center. The tour will play over 25 cities in its first year, including a stop at Blumenthal Performing Arts in Charlotte, North Carolina.
“Some of my most thrilling nights have been while I was on tour, bringing my music to audiences across the world,” said Neil Diamond. “Having A Beautiful Noise go on tour is an honor and I can’t wait for audiences across North America to experience this show. I hope they enjoy it as much as I have.”
A full tour route and casting will be announced at a later date. The Broadway production, which opened December 4, celebrated 100 performances on Broadway on March 2.
“Neil is one of the best live entertainers the world has ever seen. In his fifty-year career, he’s performed for millions of fans around the globe. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect way to honor his legacy than… visiting the same cities where he gave so many people so much joy,” said Ken Davenport, who serves as lead producer on the tour with Bob Gaudio and NETworks Presentations.
The Broadway production currently stars Tony nominee Will Swenson as the famed singer-songwriter in his heyday, alongside Mark Jacoby as Neil Diamond in present day, Robyn Hurder as Marcia Murphy, Linda Powell as Doctor, Jessie Fisher as Jaye Posner, Michael McCormick as Paul Colby/Tommy O’Rourke, Tom Alan Robbins as Bert Berns/Kieve Diamond, and Bri Sudia as Ellie Greenwich/Rose Diamond.
Rounding out the ensemble are Neal Benari, Ninako Donville, Paige Faure, Nick Fradiani, Kalonjee Gallimore, Samantha Gershman, Becky Gulsvig, Alex Hairston, Makai Hernandez, Jess LeProtto, Tatiana Lofton, Aaron James McKenzie, Mary Page Nance, Pascal Pastrana, Robert Pendilla, Max Sangerman, and MiMi Scardulla. Swenson plays a schedule of seven performances per week with Nick Fradiani playing Neil Diamond – Then during the Wednesday evening performances.
