Let’s hear it for these wintry delights! Cast members from A Beautiful Noise joined Theatrely in Gallow Green at The McKittrick Hotel for an ugly sweater holiday party of epic proportions. Inspired by everyone’s favorite fashion during the season, The Noise (as the ensemble are lovingly called) were styled by Jake Sokoloff and photographed by Michaelah Reynolds.

A Beautiful Noise, a bio-musical about Neil Diamond, opened December 4 at the Broadhurst Theatre. Tony nominee Will Swenson stars as the famed singer-songwriter in his heyday, alongside Mark Jacoby as Neil Diamond in present day, Robyn Hurder as Marcia Murphy, Linda Powell as Doctor, Jessie Fisher as Jaye Posner, Michael McCormick as Paul Colby/Tommy O’Rourke, Tom Alan Robbins as Bert Berns/Kieve Diamond, and Bri Sudia as Ellie Greenwich/Rose Diamond.
In addition to the cast at the holiday party, the ensemble, swings, and standbys include Neal Benari, Paige Faure, Nick Fradiani, Kalonjee Gallimore, Becky Gulsvig, Alex Hairston, Tatiana Lofton, Mary Page Nance, Max Sangerman, and MiMi Scardulla. Swenson plays a schedule of seven performances per week with Nick Fradiani playing Neil Diamond – Then during the Wednesday evening performances.
All songs from A Beautiful Noise are written or co-written by Neil Diamond, with a book by Anthony McCarten, direction by Michael Mayer, and choreography by Steven Hoggett.
Orchestrations are by Bob Gaudio, Sonny Paladino, and Brian Usifer. The production has music supervision and arrangements by Paladino, incidental music and dance music arrangements by Brian Usifer, and vocal design by AnnMarie Milazzo. An Original Broadway Cast Recording was released earlier this year.
The design team includes scenic designer David Rockwell, costume designer Emilio Sosa, lighting designer Kevin Adams, sound designer Jessica Paz, and hair and wig designer Luc Verschueren. The team also includes production stage manager Bonnie Panson, illusion consultant Jamie Harrison, properties designer Kathy Fabian, and general manager Ryan Conway of Architect Theatrical with casting by Jim Carnahan.
