Go on the Scene of PLAZA SUITE's Opening Night | Photo Journal
Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have checked into the Hudson Theatre. The Broadway revival of Neil Simon’s Plaza Suite opened last night and the stars were out to welcome the theatre favorites back on stage.
Directed by John Benjamin Hickey, the comedy first played a sold-out pre-Broadway engagement in Boston. The production was ready to begin Broadway previews in March 2020 but got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Joining real-life married couple Parker and Broderick on stage are Danny Bolero, Molly Ranson, and Eric Wiegand. The design team includes set designer John Lee Beatty, costume designer Jane Greenwood, lighting designer Brian MacDevitt, and sound designer Scott Lehrer, with music by Marc Shaiman.
