Justin Townsend has won Best Lighting Design in a Musical at the 74th Annual Tony Awards for his work on Moulin Rouge! The Musical. This is his fourth nomination and first win. He has previously been nominated for his work on The Humans and American Psycho.

Townsend beat out fellow nominee Bruno Poet (Tina).

Previous Broadway credits include: The Nap, Saint Joan, The Little Foxes, Present Laughter, and American Psycho.
