The fall Broadway season is here and Theatrely has come up with a fun game to celebrate the many, many new shows arriving in town!

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, will be to find a photo in your camera roll that represents a theme, item, or location found in a Broadway show that will open this fall. (If you don’t have one already, feel free to have an impromptu photo shoot!)

As a show begins previews, we will share the show-specific prompt on our Highlights with information about the theatre and upcoming opening night. Each prompt is related to the show, so we can all take part in the fun onstage!

In order to play, post the photo on your Instagram (story or grid) and tag @Theatre.ly and the show (if you want). We’ll be selecting the funniest, most original pics to highlight on our feed. There might even be a few giveaways!

Check out our scavenger photo challenge clues below and happy hunting! To make life easier, we’ve added the theatre and opening night date for each show.

  1. Leopoldstadt (Longacre Theatre, October 2): A historical family photo
  1. Cost of Living (Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, October 3): Hugging a loved one
  1. 1776 (American Airlines Theatre, October 6): Giving a history presentation at school (extra credit if you’re dressed up in character)
  1. Death of a Salesman (Hudson Theatre, October 9): At work
  1. The Piano Lesson (Ethel Barrymore Theatre, October 13): A family heirloom

In case you skimmed up top:

To play, visit our Instagram Highlights to see all of the prompts and learn about each show. For some prompts, you may already have the perfect pic in your Camera Roll, but don't worry—you can also take a new one. Post your photos on Instagram (grid, stories, or both!) and be sure to tag us @Theatre.ly. Creativity is encouraged! We’ll be highlighting some of our favorites on our feed. We can’t wait to cheer on all of these new productions with you!

P.S. Be sure to check our stories for new prompts with each first preview. There are a lot of great shows coming up!
