Looks like North America is about to get a little versatility. Today, it was announced that BOOP! The Musical will launch a 50-week tour in Rochester, NY at the West Herr Auditorium Theatre in Fall 2026. Additional tour cities, dates, and casting for the North American Tour will be announced soon. The tour of BOOP! is produced by NETworks Presentations and booking is by The Booking Group.Tony-winning director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell brings the Queen of the Screen to the theater in BOOP!, with celebrated multiple Grammy -winning composer David Foster, Tony-nominated lyricist Susan Birkenhead and Tony-winning book writer Bob Martin.
Alive Forever can only last so long! Today, Universal Theatrical Group announced that Tony Award nominee Betsy Wolfe will join the company of Death Becomes Her as Madeline Ashton beginning January 16, 2026. Wolfe was previously seen this summer in Joy The Musical, and last on Broadway in & Juliet. Megan Hilty, who earned a Tony nomination for originating the role of Madeline Ashton, will depart the production on January 4, 2026. Tickets are currently on sale through June 7, 2026 and a North American tour will hit the road beginning Fall 2026, laughing at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, OH.
Giant starring John Lithgow as Ronald Dahl, will begin performances on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre on March 11. Alongside Lithgow, the production will star Aya Cash, Elliot Levey, and Rachael Stirling, reprising their roles from the UK production and all making their Broadway debuts.
Tony Award nominee Alex Brightman and Sara Chase will reprise their roles as Josh and Melissa in Schmigadoon! on Broadway! Brightman and Chase originated the roles in The Kennedy Center production earlier this year.
Marty Lauter and David Merino are taking the stage for one night only in Two Ladies at the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Oct. 13 at 9:30 p.m. The pair, who closed the run of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club on Broadway sharing the role of the Emcee, will be Emcees of their own.
