The Tony Award-winning hit musical Dear Evan Hansen is set to return to the Music Box Theatre on Broadway this December starring the one-and-only Jordan Fisher as Evan Hansen. The North American Tour will relaunch for its third year on the road starring Stephen Christoper Anthony as Evan on December 7, 2021 and you can catch Sam Tutty, who recently won the Oliver Award for Best Actor in a Musical as Evan in the London production returning to the Noël Coward Theatre on October 26, 2021. 

The beloved theatre convention BroadwayCon will return to New York City at The Manhattan Center & The New Yorker Hotel on February 18 through February 20 of next year.

COME FROM AWAY has announced their full Broadway cast for a September 21 return.

The Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 production of Antoinette Chinonye Nwandu’s acclaimed, award-winning play Pass Over, directed by Obie Award winner Danya Taymor (“Daddy,” Heroes of the Fourth Turning) will move its opening night up to Sunday August 22, 2021, three weeks earlier than the previously announced opening date of Sunday September 12, 2021.

Beanie Feldstein will star as “Fanny Brice” in the first Broadway revival of Funny Girl. For the first time in 58 years, the new production directed by Michael Mayer will begin performances in spring 2022 at a Broadway theatre to be announced soon. When Funny Girl first premiered on Broadway in 1964, it went on to garner eight Tony Award nominations. 

Susan Hill’s The Woman in Black is headed back to the McKittrick Hotel, home of Sleep No More. Performances are set to begin October 21, with an opening night set for October 24. This production had a previous run at the McKittrick back in January of 2020. 

On September 17, Everybody is certainly going to be talking about something! Based off the hit West End musical, Amazon’s Everybody's Talking About Jamie will hit the streaming service next month. 

It was announced today that Tony winner Ivo van Hove’s latest revival of West Side Story will not reopen at the Broadway Theatre when in-person performances begin later this fall. The revival of the classic had begun performances on December 10, 2019 and was running up until the shutdown.

Nominated for 12 Tony Awards, Tina - The Tina Turner Musical will reopen at Broadway’s Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on Friday, October 8, 2021.

Eugene O’Neill’s classic Long Day’s Journey into Night is headed to the Minetta Lane Theatre Off-Broadway in a new stage production that will be directed by Tony Award nominee Robert O’Hara and starring Bill Camp, Ato Blankson-Wood, and Elizabeth Marvel, produced by Audible.

Welcome, back, to the rock! Come From Away will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, September 10. Directed by Tony Award-winner Christopher Ashley, the filmed production stars an ensemble cast led by members of the Broadway show.

Producers Carmen Pavlovic and Bill Damaschke are pleased to announce that Natalie Mendoza will join the Broadway company of Moulin Rouge! The Musical in the role of Satine when the Tony-nominated hit musical resumes performances on Friday, September 24, 2021, at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS and TWO RIVER THEATER have announced that the label will record the new Joe Iconis musical Love in Hate Nation for an original cast album. The recording is based on the show’s world premiere production at the Two River Theater in 2019.

The Broadway League announced today that the owners and operators of all 41 Broadway theatres in New York City will require vaccinations for audience members, as well as performers, backstage crew, and theatre staff, for all performances through October 2021. Masks will also be required for audiences inside the theatre, except while eating or drinking in designated locations.
