The Tony nominee, most recently seen on stage in Summer: The Donna Summer Musical and who appeared Hamilton, will emcee Broadway's biggest night at Radio City Musical Hall June 12.

The star won The Search for Roxie! in 2019 and will play a limited engagement at the Ambassador Theatre where the revival is currently running. 

The stage musical adaptation of Jodi Picoult and Samantha van Leer’s novel will begin performances June 14 at Second Stage’s Tony Kiser Theater. 

André De Shields and Khris Davis have also joined revival of Arthur Miller’s exploration of the American Dream. Miranda Cromwell and Marianne Elliott will again serve as co-directors after helming the West End production.

The LP was recorded on opening night back in October 2021. Featured on the tracks are Adrianna Hicks, Andrea Macasaet, Abby Mueller, Brittney Mack, Samantha Pauly, and Anna Uzele. 

The honors, celebrating the best of Off-Broadway, were handed out May 1. Additional winners include Oratorio For Living Things, The Chinese Lady, and Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992.

Steph Del Rosso’s 53% Of, directed by Tiffany Nichole Greene, and Johnny G. Lloyd’s Patience, directed by Zhailon Levingston, will run at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre Off-Broadway. 

Filming will take place at The Other Palace in London, where the show is currently set to run through the summer. Heathers is based on the 1989 cult film of the same name. 

Manhattan Theatre Club also announced three Off-Broadway productions coming next season, including a world premiere from David Auburn. 

Also joining the Broadway cast at the Gershwin Theatre are James D. Gish, Clifton Davis, and Mikayla McCormick. The Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman musical is currently the fifth-longest running production on the Main Stem.

Also set throughout the 2022-2023 slate are performances by Nikki Renée Daniels, Matt Doyle, and Melissa Errico in a tribute concert to Stephen Sondheim. 

Trai Byers and Michael Potts have also joined the cast for the revival of August Wilson’s play. They join Samuel L. Jackson, Danielle Brooks, and John David Washington. 

The Pulitzer Prize for Drama finalist by Michael Breslin and Patrick Foley will play at The Connelly Theater Off-Broadway and will broadcast on Stellar. The work is a satire on gay culture and all its histrionic glory. 

The Outer Critics Circle have revealed their favorites of the 2021-2022 season. The winners will be announced May 16.

The honors celebrate the best of theatre in Boston, with John Douglas Thompson named the recipient of the Elliot Norton Prize for Sustained Excellence. Winners will be revealed May 23 in a virtual ceremony.

The awards, celebrating the best of Broadway and Off-Broadway, will be announced May 20 at an in-person ceremony in NYC. Categories will honor overall productions, direction, and performance. 

A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical, has announced additional casting ahead of their Pre-Broadway run at Emerson Colonial Theatre in Boston.The musical will feature Broadway favorites Will Swenson, Mark Jacoby, Robyn Hurder, and Linda Powell.Swenson will star as the young Neil Diamond while Jacoby will play Diamond at present. The story will follow Diamond as he begins his music career and as he faces challenges throughout the years. Hurder will play Marcia, who married Diamond, and Powell will play Diamond’s therapist.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced their plans for the 2022-2023 theatrical season in New York City

Dates and a theatre have also been announced for the musical, which will arrive on Broadway at the end of 2022. The star-studded creative team includes Matthew López, Amber Ruffin, Marc Shaiman, Scott Wittman, and Casey Nicholaw.

The world premiere of Matthew Lombardo’s backstage comedy will be directed by Noah Himmelstein at The Bushnell in Hartford.

The musical will live stream April 14 from a NYC theatre, starring Roman Banks, Sri Ramesh, James Henry, Krystina Alabado, JJ Niemann, and more. Andy Cohen is set to host.

The world premiere musical features songs by some of the biggest and brightest country artists, like Kacey Musgraves, Miranda Lambert, and Dolly Parton.

The Tony and Emmy winner will step in as The Baker with Borle departing due to availability. The two-week run begins May 4 at New York City Center. 

Rob Ashford is set to direct the work, with plans for development in London. The show will be developed in London with hopes to premiere in the West End and on Broadway. 

The upcoming 2022-2023 season will also feature On Your Feet!, The Sound of Music, Murder on the Orient Express, and Rent.

The stage adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s classic book The Little Prince is currently playing at the Broadway Theatre. The production combines dance, aerial acrobatics, and projections to bring the adventure story to life.

Skylar Astin will succeed Conrad Ricamora as Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors at the Westside Theatre.
