The acclaimed revival of Into The Woods extends eight more weeks at the St. James Theatre on Broadway.

The production was originally slated to play at the St. James, where Into the Woods is currently running.

David Zayas has also joined the cast with a creative team announced. 

Joel Grey will return as director with Steven Skybell reprising his performance as Tevye. 

Plus, more dance magic is coming, with the world premiere of Sugar Hill: The Ellington/Strayhorn Nutcracker at New York City Center.

The season features six world premieres, including a new play by Gracie Gardner and a new musical from Simon Stephens and Mark Eitzel. 

Bre Jackson, Brennyn Lark, Keri René Fuller, Ayla Ciccone-Burton, and Holli’ Conway will join the kingdom this summer.

We Just Can’t Get Enough! Sing Street is about to open at the Huntington’s Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA in Boston next month and we finally have the cast. Directed by Tony winner Rebecca Taichman and choreography by Tony winner Sonya Tayeh, Sing Street features a book from Enda Walsh, with music and lyrics by Gary Clark and Carney. It is set to run August 26 to October 2, 2022. 

One of New York’s most beloved events is returning this year to bring some Broadway joy to the park. Now in its 22nd year, Broadway in Bryant Park is back to bring performances from all over the Rialto for some free lunchtime fun. Taking place every Thursday in August starting at 11am, the annual presentation will include special performances from A Strange Loop, SIX, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Phantom of the Opera, Come From Away, Hadestown, and more. Don’t forget your lawn chairs, seating is first come, first serve. 

The Broadway premiere of Mr. Saturday Night will conclude its run at the Nederlander Theatre on September 4, 2022.

Kevin del Aguila and NaTasha Yvette Williams also join in the fun ahead of the musical’s Broadway premiere this fall.

The out-of-town tryout begins at 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle later this summer.

The production also confirmed its creative team for a fall engagement at the Hudson Theatre. 

The Emmy and Golden Globe nominee has long been a favorite to play Fanny Brice on stage. 

The comedy premiered Off-Broadway at The Public Theater in 2019.

The show will play its final performance at the Barrymore Theatre soon. 

The Anthony McCarten play brings Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol to life on stage. 

The musical adaptation will star Chris Wood, Anika Larsen, Solea Pfeiffer, Drew Gehling, and Casey Likes.

The jukebox musical features pop hits from the ‘90s and 2000’s. 

Stephen Daldry is attached to direct, who will also produce with Sonia Friedman.

The former Secretary of State and U.S. Senator will lead a discussion on women in theatre. 

The hit Disney+ TV show will return July 27.

The Lerner and Loewe musical will be produced by Lincoln Center Theatre and begin performances November 3. Bartlett Sher directs.

The Olivier-winning play opens this fall at the Longacre Theatre.
