Producer Kevin McCollum announced today that Mrs. Doubtfire, the new musical comedy based on the 1993 20th Century Fox film, will resume performances at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre on October 21, 2021, with an opening night of December 5, 2021. Rob McClure will return as the titular Mrs. Doubtfire.

The Royal Shakespeare Company’s West End production of Matilda The Musical has announced that it will return to the Cambridge Theatre from September 16, 2021. Seen by more than 10 million people across more than 90 cities worldwide, this autumn marks 10 years since the multi-award-winning show opened in the West End. Matilda The Musical is now booking through to February 13, 2022.

Producers Kenny Wax, Wendy & Andy Barnes, George Stiles, and Kevin McCollum are pleased to announce that SIX, the international musical phenomenon by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, will return to Broadway this fall at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W 47 th St, NYC). The production was previously set to have its opening the very day Broadway shut down on March 12, 2020, with the performance cancelled just a few hours before the curtain was to go up. Now, SIX will finally celebrate its long-awaited official Broadway opening night on October 3, 2021. Performances begin on September 17, 2021.

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh today announced that The Phantom of the Opera, the longest-running show in Broadway history, would resume performances on Friday, October 22. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, May 7 at 9AM.

Apple TV+ today announced “Schmigadoon!,” the six-episode musical comedy series executive produced by Lorne Michaels and starring Emmy Award-nominee Cecily Strong and Emmy Award-winner Keegan-Michael Key, will make its global debut on Friday, July 16. Two episodes will be available at launch followed by one episode weekly every Friday.
