We Just Can’t Get Enough! Sing Street is about to open at the Huntington’s Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA in Boston next month and we finally have the cast. Directed by Tony winner Rebecca Taichman and choreography by Tony winner Sonya Tayeh, Sing Street features a book from Enda Walsh, with music and lyrics by Gary Clark and Carney. It is set to run August 26 to October 2, 2022. 

One of New York’s most beloved events is returning this year to bring some Broadway joy to the park. Now in its 22nd year, Broadway in Bryant Park is back to bring performances from all over the Rialto for some free lunchtime fun. Taking place every Thursday in August starting at 11am, the annual presentation will include special performances from A Strange Loop, SIX, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Phantom of the Opera, Come From Away, Hadestown, and more. Don’t forget your lawn chairs, seating is first come, first serve. 

The Broadway premiere of Mr. Saturday Night will conclude its run at the Nederlander Theatre on September 4, 2022.

Kevin del Aguila and NaTasha Yvette Williams also join in the fun ahead of the musical’s Broadway premiere this fall.

The show will play its final performance at the Barrymore Theatre soon. 

The Anthony McCarten play brings Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol to life on stage. 

The musical adaptation will star Chris Wood, Anika Larsen, Solea Pfeiffer, Drew Gehling, and Casey Likes.

The jukebox musical features pop hits from the ‘90s and 2000’s. 

Stephen Daldry is attached to direct, who will also produce with Sonia Friedman.

The former Secretary of State and U.S. Senator will lead a discussion on women in theatre. 

The hit Disney+ TV show will return July 27.

The Lerner and Loewe musical will be produced by Lincoln Center Theatre and begin performances November 3. Bartlett Sher directs.

The Olivier-winning play opens this fall at the Longacre Theatre.

The Tony winner plays the controversial NYC public official Robert Moses in a new play by David Hare. 

The beloved musical is currently in performances at the Jacobs Theatre.

Off-Broadway’s MCC Theater has announced their 2022-2023 Season. Programming at the Hell’s Kitchen-based nonprofit will include world premieres, returning collaborations, and more at The Robert W. Wilson MCC Theater Space.

The musical will have its world premiere in Chicago at the James M. Nederlander Theatre this summer. 

Plus, Robert O’Hara will direct a production of Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin in the Sun. 

Suzan-Lori Parks’ Pulitzer Prize–winning drama will be directed by Kenny Leon.
