Rounding out the all-star cast of the Off-Broadway revival of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee are Tony Award nominee Lilli Cooper as Rona Lisa Peretti and Jason Kravitz as Vice Principal Douglas Panch.

An immersive production of Jacob Wasson’s play Smuta is coming to a new Brooklyn audiophile nightclub Refuge, produced by New York Nightlife icon Ladyfag. The production opens on Oct. 9 for a limited run.

Schmigadoon! is coming to Broadway! The production, based on the Apple Original series from Universal Television of the same name, will begin previews at the Nederlander Theatre on April 4, 2026 with an opening night set for April 20 and will run through Sept. 6. “

Pulitzer Prize Finalist Rajiv Joseph’s Gruesome Playground Injuries will return to the New York stage in a new production starring Succession’s Nicholas Braun and two-time Tony Award winner Kara Young. The production will be directed by Neil Pepe.

Ice Berg Productions and Sierra Miliziano are set to bring Adam Wachter’s Tarrytown to New York for a limited engagement, with performances beginning October 16, 2025, at The Cell Theater running through October 25. This contemporary chamber musical reimagines Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow as a psychological queer love triangle set in modern-day upstate New York. Ichabod Crane, a music teacher rebuilding his life, finds himself entangled with Katrina and Brom Van Brunt in a ninety-minute story of longing, desire, and identity. With a witty and deeply melodic score, Wachter crafts a poignant exploration of small-town restlessness and the haunting pull of connection. The three-person company includes Andrew Cekala as Ichabod, Maya Sistruck as Katrina and Jake Goz as Brom.

Jesse Eisenberg’s The Ziegeld Files, directed by Pulitzer Prize finalist Shayok Misha Chowdhury, is coming to Studio Seaview with seven on-book performances October through December. Eisenberg’s new solo play, read by the actor, is presented between performances of Jordan Tannahill’s Prince Faggot.
